My personal development as a teacher includes everything that I learn. The experience I gain while in college, and in life in general will help prepare me for becoming a teacher. As I go through college and life in general I can check off (like on a check list) the goals that i achieve.
Personal development=learning from experience and applying what is learned. Personal development is not just a personal matter because how one develops into who they are depends on a lot of different factors including the way that he/she is raised, how they learn to act from the friends or other people that they are around, what they see in the media, etc. As a teacher I must remember that children, students, their parents -anyone that I teach something to is being influenced by me and I by those people.
